How can I make it easier to open/close the glass lid?
At first, it may be a little difficult to open or close the lid but it will become easier as time goes on. You can, however, rub the gasket with a little vegetable oil to make it easier to put on.
REMOVABLE GASKETS (lid/blade)
How can I get rid of strong smells, such as onion?
To prevent stubborn smells, we recommend washing the gaskets in the dishwasher or with white vinegar
To reduce smells, do not leave the lid on when not using the Cook Expert and and make sure that air circulates freely.
You can also run the Steam programme with 1/2 litre of water and a half a lemon
What should I do if the gasket breaks or tears?
This happens when the gasket is not used correctly. We recommend buying another one through our approved repairers or distributors.
- Broken: the removable gasket has a hard part in the middle which must not be folded or bent or it could break.
- Torn: As indicated in the instructions, we recommend removing the gasket from the lid with a spoon handle to prevent damaging the flexible part.
We invite you to follow these instructions for use in order to protect your gasket.
FIXED GASKET (lid)
What do I do if the fixed gasket comes out of the lid or the middle part?
If you see the gasket coming out of the perimeter of the lid or the middle part, please send us a photo via the contact form.
